Leisure Facilities :

Taking its name from the riverside Emperors Wharf and its Roman origins, it was here that the whole timber from the Northern Europe and Scottish forests was off-loaded then cut in the Sawmill before being sold as working wood to local builders, joiners and carpenters. The Old Sawmill has been completely restored to provide a fully equipped fitness facility within the hotel grounds. Emperors is available free of charge to all hotel guest who are either following a personal fitness programme or just fancy a tone up. Due to the popularity of the pool, booking may be required on your arrival at the hotel.
